Dear Madam/ Sir,
I am writing this letter to you as I have been observing that my family and I face water problem in our residential building as we are located on the top floor. We are facing this problem since 1995. I agree that there was a water shortage problem in Mira Road initially. But now things seem to be pretty comfortable. The owners residing on the top floor of my building are facing this problem. On a continuous basis I have to order extra water supply from private water suppliers which is a huge expense to my pocket. Even after paying all the taxes I have this problem. The society is aware about this problem since the society is formed.
With reference to other buildings and consultation from the plumber, about 3 weeks ago my parents also suggested to the secretary to provide the flat owners of the top floor with a separate water line.
Our current water line structure is &-
G, 1, 2 3 &- HAVE A COMMON LINE
4, 5, 6 &-- HAVE A COMMON LINE.
We get 20mins water in morning @ 0700 hrs and 10mins in the evening @ 1900 hrs.
One of the plumber of the society had told the secretary in front of my parents that the top floor owners should always have a separate line otherwise the water pressure decreases and the top floor owners will not get adequate water... This is what is happening with us. When my parents gave it in writing to the secretary, he then changed the plumber and that plumber said that if water is coming in to the tank then everything is normal and there is no need to provide separate line.
I have never ever seen any body else in this building complaining for water apart from the top floor owners.
Why only the top floor owners face the crisis? that too since 1995.
