My name is R.S. Gill, Dy. Manager, Koomber T.G. Distt. Cachar, Assam. I was posted at Jalpaiguri Distt of West Bengal in 2003 where I transferred my Gas connection from Darjeeling to Mal Bazaar, Jalpaiguri. My Gas agency consumer No. 11279 and card serial No. IOC/ER is 385399 as per the information furnished in my Domestic Gas consumer card issued by the Gas agency, M/s Banhi Sikha, (indane Distributor), Mal, P.O. Mal, Distt. Jalpaiguri, Code No. 59026687, West Bengal dated 04/08. I write to complain that post issuing me the said card, I was not issued my Gas cylender by the said Gas agency and numerous visits to their outlet did not yield results as they refused knowledge of any records.
Although I still have my Gas stove and regulator, I have not been issued my Gas cylender till date which also reflects in the Consumer book.
Now that I have been posted to Assam, I want to know if the agency will transfer my Gas cylender to Silchar, Assam, where I would be able to utilize the Gas connection?
Please look into the matter and advise.
