Billing on Roaming

Hi,

I have not been in India from 3rd Dec onwards and I see that I have been billed a whopping INR 7000 for the said period.

I acknowledge using the phone on Roaming but only till 5th Dec, till I reached Canada and after that I have not RECIEVED a single call (there were missed calls but I didn't take those to save money and called them from a local Canadian numbers) let alon making an outgoing call.

I have switched my voice mail on before leaving India for all unanswered and not reachable calls.

It seems like Airtel are billing me for the airtime when the caller greets my voice message while a caller calls me from India on my Indian number (91-9810356575).

Please note that I have never even called my voicemail to check my messages.

Is this fair? What's the point of switching on the voicemail I rather answer all calls in that case.

Please sort this out and revert all such charges.

I don't think I am going to py for this.

I have been an Airtel customer for 7 years and have prompted all what has been requested for without a single question, but this is a question I am willing to have answered.
