Airtel sending bill after deactivation request

Hi,

I had a Airtel Landline in Gurgaon - 0124 - 4112939. I asked for disconnection on Apr 21st after paying the April bill / outstanding amount before the due date. I got a call later on the 23rd saying that since I was relocating to Banmgalore, I need not disconnect but can ask for a transfer to which I agreed.

After I came tio Bangalore, I was asked by Airtel Karnataka to disconnect my connection in Gurgaon and place a fresh order in Bangalore which I did.

Hence I placed the De Activation request finally on May 2nd.

However, till now, the service is not dis connected and I am getting thwe normal bill.

I have asked Airtel fora Final Settlement. Instead they keep sending me a normal bill and the phone line is also active. To my horror, I got an eMails saying tyhat my March bill is outstanding and hence I need to pay tyhat. When I furnished proof of me paying all my bills, I got a reply back, telling me to clear this May bill for which the due date is 28th May.

Despite me writing, calling thier call center umpteen times, the Landline is still active and they are asking me to pay the bill without affecting the Final Settlement.
