RECHARGE MOBILE BUT NOT GET BALANCE

I have a bsnl mobile my no. is 9460500446 its validity is expired so i call from my friends bsnl mobile (9413770043) to customer care on 12th august and ask for recharge he told me to recharge of 50 rs and get 6 month validity because you has a lifetime connection then next day i recharge the mobile i get sms regarding this recharge but i don't get balance and validity now i call the customer care he told me to go to nearest bsnl center now you told what i do please help me
