Shifting of connection

I had been a customer of BSNL for almost 2 years and had to shift my phone with in chennai from Ashok Nagar to Madipakkam. All the trouble started with this. Its almost 1 month and till now no one had come to see the feasibility of providing the line even. I had called the sub Divisional Engineer and informed about the thing and asked about the progress, he would promise that day someone will come to see but it went on for the past few weeks till now it has not been looked into. I also tried going to the exchange and directly speaking to the subdivisional engineer but that too didn't work out.

It seems they are expecting lot of money for installation, even though officially its a one time payment. I am fed up with BSNL and thinking of going for some other private provider. The BSNL employees still behave like government employees and don't do their work. There is no surprise why everyone is now a days opting for other private providers. They extract lot of money from the customers saying something and don't give a good service.

May be someone who is good enough will see to it that these issues of BSNL are solved.
