I have requested for Prepaid to post Paid, mine is a 6 years old pre paid connection with airtel and I decided to get it post paid, but it was a very bad experience, I was asked to submit the documents and after submitting my documents there was a verification after which my number was to be activated, they activated my number and when i was away from city, my number was blocked when I contacted customer care they told there was some verification issue and contact the gallery from where I had made the request, I was away from city hence was not able to reach them, it was the worst period in a new city my mobile connection is stopped and I have no way to contact people, or there was no way people could contact me. When I reached the city after 1 week I asked them what was the issue and they said the copy of the document was not clear, I told they should have checked it before activating my number, the person was not ready to hear anything, and told the number would be re activated after submitting the documents, as if I was in need of the connection and it was my mistake that the documents where not checked, I remember I asked them to check the documents when I gave them and they said they were fine.

Airtel has worst network in Pune and also now I feel the customer service is also worst.

Beware of Airtel!!!
