Dear All,

I was using Airtel mobile postpaid connection for 2 years in Gurgaon. Recently I got relocated and I disconnected my Airtel Number from my current city's Airtel Sevice Centre. I did all my bill settlement and received recepit against my payment. I was told that my number will be deactivated in 24hrs and so I should not rceieve or make calls. Next month, my ex-neighbour from Gurgaon called me up and said that my Airtel bill due for Rs. 8000 has been posted at her place.

I was shocked to hear that, as I had done all my my due payments and not done/received any calls from my Airtel number after disconnection. Moreover my neighbour informed me that in the bill, there were several parallel calls being done. Meaning - there were 2-3 calls done paralley at the same time. All of these calls were ISD.Within 24 hours several parelle calls worth 8000 had been from my Airtel number by someone else.

Now this is customer harssement to core and why does Airtel have such rules which is liable to be misused by someone. Why does disconnection procedure takes 24hrs when this is liable to be misused by someone in the chain???

Airtel better take corrective steps here..and am not going to shell out single penny of my hard earned money for such misuse done at my cost.
