On Apr 14 at 12.11 pm I've received a message from the number 58000 from my mobile service provider-Aircel at my number 8013394644 that I've been charged INR 7.50 for IPL Cricket Updates when I didnot activate any such service on my own.
Since then I've called the company for about 7-8 times. On getting back to the company at their complaints department I got no help at all. Some complaint officers hung up on me, on asking for a supervisor/manager I was denied at the first place stating supervisors "are busy to attend your call", upon insisting and begging for a supervisor I was transferred to such a queue where no one picks up the phone and it just keeps on ringing until you hangup the phone in disgust. When I asked for a callback from the supervisor I was told supervisors are too busy now and will call back after 2 hours. Unfortunately! No one called me back.
The complaints department is simply denying the fact that it was not done from their end and its my fault. Now, I dont have such availability that I'll be fighting for a mere sum of INR 7.50 .But here I want justice and good business practice to be followed. When as a customer we are using the products/services of a business we are trusting them. Here, Aircel broke my trust!!
