I am an old consumer of Airtel, now I want to change the service provider with the help of number portability. I send the request to 1900 and get the UP ID (AA162498) code, and submit the documents to another service provider BSNL.After few days I got a sms "Your port In request for Mobile Number 9676968612 has been rejected by your service provider due to legal reasons". Later I contact to Airtel customer care they people says we don't have any rights to stop you to move another network provider. BSNL people says the old service provides not permitted to leave you. Now my UP ID was expired, again I send a request to 1900 to get a new UP ID but still i didn't get.
