Airtel
Non intimation/Allowance by Airtel of crossing credit limit and exhorbitant bill

My name is Shyam and my mobile # is 9845391054. I am writing to you considering this as the last resort after several interactions with Airtel customer care, Appellate and Nodal Officer had failed to yield any result or a resolution to this problem and also given the fact that you are responsible for corporate accounts of Airtel with Accenture.

I have received a massive mobile bill of about INR 21, 000 for the month of February and INR 37, 000 for March (32K just between the 3rd and 16th of March). This is an unusually high bill amount, more than 20 - 30 times the amount I pay every month. I have used my mobile in Feb just as much as I have used it in the past. Ever since I received this bill, I have been religiously following up with your customer care folks as well as have contacted your Koramangala Airtel outlet, Appellate, Nodal officers to put an end to this issue which hasn't happened as of yet.

I have NOT downloaded anything on my mobile but I have been receiving messages about some games subscription charges that I have not requested for.

If the charges are based on KB (Kilobytes), the amount (INR 19, 450 for Feb) corresponds to about 12 GB of data download which is impossible on any given day and that too to a business mobile such as a Nokia E72.

I have a credit limit of INR 10, 000 and I have NOT received any intimation through calls or messages when this was crossed.

A cumulative bill of about INR 57, 000 is extremely impractical and illogical and I am sure I have not done anything to receive such an enoromous bill. I am

not willing to pay this amount as the charges that have been unnecessarily levied upon me is just unacceptable and ridiculous. I have been visiting your store regarding this back and forth as well as talking to your customer care executives, so want to put an end to this immediately.

I would also like to bring to your notice that I have a long standing relationship with airtel being a customer since 6 years (since 2005) and have always paid my bills well within time, my records should speak up for this. This can be verified at anytime as I have all my previous bills.

I have spoken enough with the folks at Airtel and I haven't gotten any progress with it.

In addition to this I have received this month's bill containing a late payment fee of Rs 750 and have been charged for some game downloads/subscription which NEVER happened.

Can you please provide a final solution to this problem ASAP?

If this discussion fails too, I would just be pushed to go to the court of law and file a defamation/false billing suit against Airtel.

However, that would be the last option I would want to consider as I believe you would definitely help me come out of this mess.

Thank You,

Regards,

Shyam Neelakandan
