It is a shame on Airtel's Part that they are not able to manage customers. Whenever we call Serv Desk, they promise a call back which is always a false promise. I have been facing a lot of problems with airtel.
1. No proper Account IDs - For one number they have created n number of account IDs which they themselves are not sure which number is actually correct.
2. They donot know how to manage Account IDs at all
3. When I check online which AIRTEL calls Customer SELFCARE (a stupid website from airtel which is of no use to customers) has a different Account ID and the Bill I am receiving has a different Account ID. So whenever I try logging in to Website and check my Balance, the Balance always says 0, But end of month I get a surprise Bill of some Rs. 5000 even I am in a plan of CUG 499.
Number - 9535300499 which is in my name was purchased in the Month of November. Just because this Sim was inserted in to a Handset which has a 3G facility, without sending any communication nor taking a confirmation from My end Airtel has activated 3G on my account and when called them they say it is a benefit for customer while it is a cheating practice/technique that Airtel adopts to cheat its customers.
Unfortunately I have 3 numbers with Airtel and now I am planning to get rid of Airtel for ever.
