I had given a request to port out from Airtel on March 14 and new service provider has submitted all the documents on March 22. When I called Airtel to know the status they are not providing the right/correct information. They were saying we do not have information. When I called on March 29 at around 11:30 AM one of the customer representative told me that the port out should be completed by tonight (March 29) and she informed that one of their manager will call me back with in 2PM but no one called. Later in the evening at 7:40 PM I received a message from Vodafone saying Airtel has rejected the porting request saying UPC code is not matching. I called Airtrel customer care at 8PM to know why they have rejected the request but no one was giving me the correct/ right answers, they were giving n number of reasons. But finally I was able to speak to one of the floor manager (forgot the name), he said everything is clear from Airtel side and porting should be completed by tonight. On March 30 porting has not been completed. I had requested porting out for my two numbers, for one number the issues was UPC code not mactching but to other number no updated at all. To add to this there were no SMS that I received porting is in process and the data time when they will be disconnecting. Irony to all this issue March 29 is the expiry of the porting code.
