I requested for MNP (Mobile Number Portability) for my Airtel number on January 20. It has been 15 days and my airtel connection has still not been cancelled. It was supposed to be done in max 7 days. When I asked the provider to whom I have given my "Unique Porting ID" he told me that its the problem from Airtel's end i.e. until and unless Airtel will disconnect I cannot shift to another provider.

I have been getting calls everyday that why I want to leave Airtel and most of the times they misbehave. I have told 3-4 times and I don't understand why they keep calling again & again. Don't they have a common database where they can fill in the details of whether the customer has been contacted or not. I really don't understand does this company has any ethics and your employees have etiquettes to talk to the customers. Customer service people are pathetic and disinterested in listening to us.

I have registered complaints against this several times last week. Now what should I expect from Airtel, when are they gonna disconnect my network so that I can switch to another provider.
