Hi,

I have always had problems getting good support from airtel. Today I decided to port to reliance from airtel. I sent a message "PORT 9611020845" to 1900. But i didnt get a UPC code to my mobile.

After 2 hrs, I called up 198 and checked if UPC is generated, they confirmed it is. I requested them what is the best way to get it to my mobile as the UPC code is not delivered to my no. The support guy started to argue that it is delivered to my no. I tried to explain him why would i call if i had received the code. Finally he asked me to wait for 2 more hours and resend the message again if message is not delivered from 1901.

I had to resend the message after 2hrs. Again i didnt get the UPC code but message is charged everytime i requested. Called up the complaint cell again and this time he says i have to just wait.

I like the network Airtel has but just because of the customer care, i am so frustrated. I can't even get rid of the service peacefully.

I would request Airtel not to be so rude with the customers. Also I would appreciate if my UPC code is sent to my no so that i can port peacefully.
