Cancelling of the connection

This is with reference to the Airtel no. 9900162474

I had given a request for the cancelation for the above number on Feb 3rd 2011 after paying the amount due bill and unbilled amount. The amount was paid on 7th Feb and gave a call back to customer care on 8th Feb saying I have paid the bill amount and requested them to cancel/disconnect the number at the earliest. But the person told they will get back to me within 4 days (before 11th Feb) for confirmation cancelation and they never called me back.

But for my surprise I see a bill of amount 323 INR for the month of March when I called the call center they say it is not been canceled and I have to pay the bill for which I never used. The amount that is mentioned is only the rental and no usage charges as I never used after Feb 3rd 2011. They want me to pay the bill and do not return the deposit amount. I request you to help me with this since I don’t know what to be done. I then called up the customer care and told to cancel the connection on 14th March.

Again on 11th April I am getting a bill of amount 697 along with previous bill due. I sincerely request you to help me out with this and take a serious action on Airtel.
