WHY AGAIN ADRESS VERIFICATION FOR CONVERSION FROM POST PAID CONNECTION TO PREPAID CONNECTION.
WHERE TO GO IF CUSTOMER CARE IS NOT ABLE TO SOLVE AND SATISFY OUR QUERIES?
I have been a customer of AIRTEL for the past two years. My mobile no is 9790015838. I had a post paid connection. On recent analysis, i found that prepaid is far more cheper than post paid. So, I put a request at an airtel customer care center to convert my post paid conection to prepaid.
This was done around three months back. There they asked for proof, i submitted my DRIVING LICENCE photocopy.
After two days, i got a call that i am supposed to change the prepaid sim, which the customer care executive have given to me. They said " You have been given a wrong SIM, get a TAMILNADU sim, you have been given a chennai SIM by mistake"
Then i went the same cutomer care centre and got the sim changed.
After aroound one month, my prepaid SIM got active.And for that month i got a post paid bill.
Till now no big problems.
Suddenly on 27or 28 of november 09, my SIM was barred, no incoming calls and no out going calls. I called customer care. They said "your documents have not been submitted". I was really annoyed, at this reply because i have already submtted the documents at the customer care centre. Next day was sunday, so no solution on that day. On monday, i went to the customer care centre and they asked me to submit the proof again. I submitted the proof again.
Now, today again i got the message that my services have been barred.
In this situation where to go and what to do.
THE IRONY IS, I HAVE THE SAME NUMBER AND HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR AROUND 2YEAR.
IF ANY ACTION OR ANY THING POSITIVE WHICH CAN BE DONE WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED
