Change of Plan

Greeting to Airtel for all inconvenience caused to me.

Hi, My name is Dheeraj Sharma an aggrieved customer of Airtel, my cell no. is 9004024545.

Some time back i made one mistake and asked Airtel Customer care executive to change my bill plan, that was i believe somewhere between Nov09 and Dec 09.

That executive confirmed me that she will change my plan for the next billing cycle (i.e 20/12) and onward.

I said thanks and was happy that they will change my plan.

As i had good faith on Airtel because of my past communication/correspondence i thought that it is required to check whether they have changed my plan or not,

I Called them on 22/12, asked whether my planned is changed or not but for my no sunrise my plan was not changed.

I asked her for the reasons, she told me that at that time of booking of plan you did not give the full information (what is that full information i am not able to understand, you want my card no. my cell no. what else you want).

I requested her to transfer my call to some senior person, who can talk call on this.

She transferred the call to some guy.

He said that you didn't give full information at the time of initial request, so we could't change your plan.

I asked whether you have my request with you, is it registered with you, he said yes it is very much there.

Then i asked if you have that requested than you should have processed the same at that time only or you should have called me.

Then he accepted his mistake and said he will change the plan retrospectively and gave me one Service Request No. F609242378.

I was happy but confused as this was from Airtel.

Again today one lady name Sarita called from No. 9004655596, and gave the same excuse as the Mr. X gave in above.

I asked her kindly give the call to some one who is senior to you she gave call to Mr. John some Team Leader.

He again started the same story.

Then after discussion he said they will change.

Again at 6:12 PM one guy name Amol Gaykwad from no. 9004655596 called me and repeated the same story.

I was very happy, cause this kind of trauma can only be cause by Airtel.

I again requested him to give it to some senior person, but for my surprise he didn't transfer this call to his boss.

Ok,

Then I asked him to change the plan he again started the same story saying we will not change the plan in case you want the same can only be done from next month i.e. Jan 10.

I asked him Tell me one thing, your executive told me about plans at very initial and i agreed at some plan, now it is your responsibility to register the request and the plan detail or i need to come to your office and punch the details.

He said yes sir it was our mistake but we can't change our plan this can only be done from next month Jan 10, and disconnected the call without saying anything.

Now i need one thing from Airtel that what should i do, you are going to change my plan or not.

Or you will continue to give this inconvenience to me.

I dont have much time I am CA working with Hindustan Petroleum, i dont have much time to waste with Airtel, i want to change my plan but as this number is already circulated and i dont want to change it like that only.
