I had recently purchesed an airtel SIM in my name, I provided all the address correctly. within a week of purchease, the airtel has called my mobile for confirmation of the address and other details, as I was not aware of this new policy of Airtel (which was not mentioned in the application form when I purchased the SIM), the phone was attended by my mother when Airtel called me, as I met with an accident and was taking bedrest, I asked my mother to attend all calls and give only the important call to me. The airtel customer care has spoken in english and not in the local language, my mother thought it is just a promotional call and disconnected the call after speaking to them.

But 2 days later my SIM was debarred saying that the concerned person is not using the phone. they wanted only me to attend when they call, not anyone else to pick the phone (How ridiculous is their policy). they have not even refunded my money. They have harrassed me mentally, I want to Sue Airtel for idiotic policy.
