Hi,
I have taken a Airtel Pre-paid mobile connection (mobile no: 8008500440) at
Infosys premises, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Have submitted the required documents
along with the current residential address.
The mobile number is activated on 16th July. After few days i.e. on 23rd July I
received a message from Customer Care saying that the outgoing facility is
disabled on my mobile and asked me to contact Airtel Outlet. When contacted
Airtel Outlet at DeepthiSree nagar, Madinaguda they have informed me that the
Servers are down. We spoke to customer care and they told us that the
verification turned negative as the current address I am staying does not come
under verification zone. They have also informed that a pre-paid connection can
be given at the same address but not a post-paid one. I could not understand
how address can make a difference.
I called up customer care again twice to register the complaint (complaint no ¿
725716724 & 33317889) only to realize that Airtel does not inform the result of
requests and I need to call up customer care again n again. I don¿t know why,
but after complaining on last Friday (30th Jul), I got my outgoing facility
(informed via an sms from customer care). I thought the issue is resolved but
again it was disabled without informing me in any channel. I called up customer
care again today n the person is asking me to contact Outlet again.
I am repetitively informing the customer care guys that my cousin brother who
is staying at the same address is receiving his Airtel postpaid bill (Mobile
no: 9849744780) on the same address. Being a satisfied Airtel customer in the
past I didn¿t expect such an embarrassment from Airtel.
I request you to look in to this matter and resume the services asap.
