I am Vishal B, a resident of Mumbai. My airtel mobile no. is 9892032676. I've been using Airtel Prepaid (9892032676) for the last 5 years. The service was never a satisfactory. Recently Airtel activated a Cricket Voice SMS Pack on my number (9892032676) without my confirmation. They automatically debited my account for activation and there on rental daily 1 Re. When i try to call Customer Care there is no option where i can register my complaint. Their website shows 198 for Service complaints but when i call there they say there's a technical problem.
Airtel has many customer care none of which works. They debited my account making my balance into negative and when i call up customer care they say you cannot call due to low balance, where as they say those numbers are toll free. Airtel is simply misguiding their customers for the last few years. Now i am fed up with this stupid service i have suffered a lot. Also when i receive calls on my phone the first call hangs up only the second call i'm able to receive. I dont know how these guys are surviving with so many technical difficulties. I also walked into a Customer Relationship Centre in Vashi, i tried to register my complaint but the person there asked me to again call up from the landline phones placed in their shop. I dont understand this stupid concept of walking into a Customer relationship Centre and again taking a phone to interact with the Customer Support Executive.
Recently i started receiving missed calls on my cell from airtel numbers when i call them back some of the stupid advertisements are played. What a stupid advertisement strategy they're using. i dont understand who's the idiot associated with these stupid ideas of publicity.
Anyways im pissed off with this service and now i wish to switch to Vodafone. And im also aware that even after reading this post none of the airtel Support or operations's going to give a damn about this matter. But still my friends please do not opt for airtel anymore.
