On my Airtel prepaid, I have been charged Rs.5 per day for 'Stop Mosquito' service, which I have not subscribed. I am getting SMS from '54321' daily regarding this.
When I sent a SMS on 54321 to stop the service I got a message that I am not subscribed to the service. When I sent a SMS to 121to stop the service they informred that they have received the Stop Service message and they would get back to me. Subsequently I get a SMS from 121 "KINDLY NOTE THERE ARE NO SERVICES ACTIVE ON YOUR AIRTEL NUMBER. "
I subsequently calledup 121 which according to Airtel website is the cotact no also for registering complaints. I was informed by the operator that he would forward the compalaint to their Tecnical department who would be able to resolve the matter by 14:00 Hrs on 14.12.2010. He told that the complaint no etc would be sent to me on my moble by a SMS. He also he gave me the URLhttp://cms.volubill.com so that I can log on using the cell phone and unsubscribe directly. When I keyed in the URL I got a message "response unknown"
Can somebody in AIRTEL Custmer Service tell me how this problem can be solved. I am not interested in the Stop Mosquito Service. Please stop deducting Rs 5 everyday for the service not required by me. Whome should I contact or call for doing the needful.
Please stop this 'Stop Mosquito' service at once. I dont want or subscribe any
service from '54321'. I dont want to loss my money for this unnecesarily.
Plz take URGENT action, stop this immediately.
