After Disconnecting Still Bills are sent

Hi,

My name is Janak Gupta and I was using an Airtel Landline Connection with broadband connection for quite some time the number was 02242152445. Around 3 months back I have sent them a mail from my personal email id [email protected] in which I requested for a disconnection and also asked them to sent me the full and final pending amount details and according to there mail I also paid them in cheque of the full amount.

But after that they are sending me bills and commenting that I am using the phone. But since then I am using an MTNL connection and I dont even have a handset to use there connection.

Every alternate day the executive from Airtel calls me up and says there are calls made after I handed over the connection and it maid in Nigeria, Africa etc. I have no connection with these countries nether my family members have. This is completely unethical and illigal I believe. when I tell them pls sent the bill details and let me cheque they say its sent in my gmail but believe you me there is no mails sent to me on the topic. I have sent so many mails to airtel at [email protected] but every time they reply it would be resolved in 24 hrs but it never got resolved.

Not today I received a call from 919320255691 who is really using threatning tone to get the payment out from me. and she is saying that I am lying and I have received the bills in my mail but saying no.

Please suggest me what needs to be done.
