Reactivation of New Sim card not done-9967777251

My Name is Shripal Bhansali. My Mobile NO. 9967777251.I have been having an airtel connection since last 2 years and always thought that airtel was the best. What I did not know was that it is the best only so long as it is working. If there is a problem, dealing with the dumb customer care execs and the gallery is a royal pain.

I lost my phone and lodged a complaint to block the card. It was done in a reasonable time. Now, the problem to get a new card reactivated. I had submited an application for reactivation alongwith required documents on 02nd April to Airtel gallery at Andheri East (Telli Lane). I was told that the service would start in 4 hours. The 4 hours became 120 hours and after hanging on to the helpline like for ever without any result. I had to go to the gallery everyday & I return with false commitment that Card will be activated within 4hrs. LAst when I went to gallery I told them that I would not leave the gallery untill my Sim is activated. Gallery people talked to Customer Care & informed me that they have addressed the issue to Senior Authority at H.O. via mail & it will be activated within 3hrs. After another assurance, I returned and still no signs of it starting. All in vain. I don't understand now a days when reactivaton is being done in 2/3hrs. Airtel is taking so long 5days!!!This is absolutly unacceptable.

Requesting to resolve the issue asap...
