Poor Mobile Internet Service

Hi everyone,

I feel unfortunate to have switched my service provider from a wonderful Vodafone to awful Airtel.

I generally switched the service because of the 98 Rs mobile internet plan that was available with Airtel and not with Vodafone. The time I planned the move Vodaphone called to provide even better plan but I made my mind to move as I heard a lot good about Airtel (rather I feel it's now good for nothing, they WERE good) as I can see how well they handle their customer problem, rather turn their problem into frustration. I was told after I switched the service that the plan is no more available and that they can offer me 149 Rs NOP Unlimited mobile internet plan. But since they cannot deliver the service even with this. Now they want me to move to 198 Rs 2 GB plan, I want to know why should I pay extra because of Airtel's error. My phone which I brought to see emails on the move is just a talking box. I am facing a lot of trouble with my business but I am also persistent that Airtel have to look to me and my problem and feel sorry.

On 26th February I got to know this is 149 NOP service is activated but I couldn't use it because there was setting problem. It took 20 day for Airtel to start internet on my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. After that the trouble started though it started with my switch of service but here the internet never worked. They could not provide me a satisfactory answer or any solution.

About 4 time I wrote emails to every Airtel address that was present and about 32 times I called to every possible department who only said to trust them and that they will fix it.

Last I called NODAL office of Airtel where they said they (technical team) will call me in 24 hrs but its 6th day since then and no sign of them yet. What a stupidity of mine to trust their words after such length of horror. The NODAL office said trust me and this is not a usual Airtel call center and there is a big difference. Now I got to know what she is talking about. That I shouldn't expect a call which you can expect from the usual call center of their's.

I do not know if they will fix my service or not but I have made my mind to move my 7 corporate connections from Airtel to back to Vodaphone.

Not only this I have two seprate 512KBPS broadband Airtel Lines installed at my office and they both works on their own will. Every now and then the internet disconnects. This is happening for last 5 months. I have finally thought of getting rid of the name Airtel from my life as I had enough of it.

I do not think that they have handled this portability thing well. This has significantly deteriorated their services, as the load has increased. Now I would suggest everyone to think before you buy. It's no more the same cake.
