Telecom companies are very smart..
They charge yo u for services which you have never asked for (PREPAID CUSTOMERS).
Today I am a victim of such cases for almost more than 10 times.
Company had a promotional call which u not even answer several times.
Later on you came to know that some amount has been deducted from your prepaid account balance.
First thing which came to your mind will be 'IS THIS THE SERVICE I REALLY NEED AND I HAVE ASKED COMPANY TO ACTIVATE THE SAME? '
When you call for CUSTOMER CARE, the executive will tell you lot many things and try to fool you around.
Because they might have been trained to fool people. And most important YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST ONE TO CALL FOR SUCH COMPLAINTS?
Basically they will tell you that company did called you at this this time and u have activated that service.
Their charges range from Rs 10 to Rs 30. which seem to be not a much amount to many people but if u calculate it for year on year basis you will end up spending more than Rs 100 a year.
The case is more worse in case of Rural Customers.
Villagers are not more tech savvy and they dont even know what sort of services company is offering.
Most of the victims are not aware of their deduction in account balance.
Those who will came to know about that, dont know how to deal with it. I mean to say they dont know how to deactivate a service and how to call for customer care.
So on Behalf of all the quetching, unsatisfied customers I request Telecom Companies to stop all such immoral activities.
