Even after activating DND about three months ago for my airtel prepaid No.9910872131 there is no stoppage to the unsolicited telemarketing calls and SMSes. On an average I get 23-30 sms a day and 5-10 phonecalls a day. I am a middle level govt. executive holding important office and such unsolicited calls and sms do cause a lot of inconvenience. DND doesnt provide any relief. Something must be done to curb this infringment of privacy of the customers by telemarketers.
