Poor service!

Outgoing on my phone had been barred as Airtel demanded that I pay the bill. I have according cleared my bills on 28th of june. I was told at the airtel office that my phone will be activated within 2 - 4 hours.

It has been more than 20 hours now and outgoing on the phone is still not activated. Have tried to get in touch with Airtel through their customer care. What I here from them even after 20 hours is that my phone will be activated in 2 - 4 hours.

When I asked the customer care agent to provide me a no. where I can log in an official complain, I was given a no. which leads to a fax machine. I agree with another consumer who has logged in a complain on this website that dialing the customer care for Airtel is a pain in the ***. A constant jabbering of the airtel offers keep on happening, and there is no option anywhere to go to the previous menu or to speak to a customer care agent.

Airtel experience of mine has been a big disappointment. Unfortunately for me, I cannot change the connection as it is an official no. and all the employees of the company are using airtel connection. Do not know the customer service quality of hutch but would definitely recommend people to go for it.
