My name is Himanshu and i am using Airtel mobile postpaid service (phone number -- 9766722551).
My complaint is regarding extra amount charged against my bill for 3 bills. I had already registered a complaint with Airtel in the month of July regarding the discrepancy in my bill for that month.
I am using one Airtel number from last 3 years now and never faced any issues. Recently i changed my bill plan and also added another number (through mobile number portability) under my group so that all the calls between those numbers should be free of charges (all over India). I had submitted all the documents and followed all the procedure as suggested by their executive.
A few days later i received a confirmation call from Airtel that my bill plan has been changed and new number is been added under your group and all the calls between those numbers will be free of charges.
But when i received my first bill after these changes, there were no benefits given to me on the calls made to that new number. I went to Airtel office to inform them about this issue and i was been informed that there may be some problem. We will check and solve this and it will not happen in next bill. They also asked me to send them the extra amount that is being charged so that the same can be waived in my next bill but nothing of this happened in the next bill. I was being charged extra again and no amount was waived off.
I didn't pay the bill but they stopped the outgoing service of my mobile number twice. I had no option left but to pay the bill amount.
I am continuously following up with them from last 3 months but i am yet to receive a proper solution from them. Each time i visit the office they say that they are looking into the issue, they have sent it to senior management etc etc.
I also called their complaint department but didn't got any solution. I also mailed the details to their Nodal Office and Appellate depts for customer complaints but in vein. There was no proper response from them as everyone was busy blaming me.
The outgoing service of my another number is stopped again as bill amount is too huge and i haven't paid it yet. When called to customer care/complaint dept. they are asking me to pay the bill amount. They are simply pointing finger to me thats its my fault, there is no extra amount charged against my numbers and bill is as per the usage. They are simply asking me to pay the bill amount and are not discussing anything about the amount to be waived off. They are stating that i have not followed the rules but the actual thing is other way around.
I have already paid an extra amount of more than Rs. 4000.
Please help me.
