Number barred for no reason

I got an Airtel prepaid sim on 21/10 from 3VCOM, Sector 35 (Chandigarh) submiting my passport as my ID proof and other necessary documents. Number was barred on 1/11 and while contacting the same Airtel outlet, to my utter surprise reason given to me was "SIGNATURE NOT CLEAR IN THE ID PROOF" by one of the Airtel personel. To which i requested them to return my id proof as i wanted to highlight this issue as an Airtel personel is challenging the äuthenticity of the document issued by Govt. of India OR my self attested document can be misused. They told me to collect the document today i.e 2/11. While i again contacted them in the concern, they told me that we will get the number activate after getting it approved. Finally my number got activated. Here comes my concern, if the signature was not clear as told to me by an Airtel Personel now how they managed to get my number reactivated OR my number was barred without any genuine reason and i was harrased for no reason.
