I ahve shifted to mumbai from pune on the 1st of august. prior to shifting I had requested Airtel to disconnect my connection on the 27.07.2011 and they had confirmed that the connection will be disconnectd within 7 days. Post which airtel still wants me to pay an outstanding for subsequent months. After numerous calls and email exchanges airtel syas that they are offering me a discount of Rs 226. But, I have to pay the rest else legal action will be taken. I have clearly mentioned to them that I am not responsible for the payments as I have already informed them to disconnect the connection and hence am ready for any legal action. Prior to which I am planning to file a case in the real consumer courts.
