Deduction without notice

I have a prepaid sim card from Airtel since for the last six months whenever I recharge with any amount I am being deducted of the major amount leaving my balance in paise. When I called up customer care they said I have activated some service. But I have not activated any service, After much thought I have stopped recharging for the last two months to avoid any unauthorised deduction. I dont really understand this rediculous behaviour from such a provider like Airtel.
