I had an Airtel prepaid number 8420594600. I decided to switch provider out of frustration with Airtel's poor customer service and their unnecessary value added services automatically getting activated on my sim. I lost lot of talktime due to their hidden services.
I ported it to Docomo prepaid (via MNP) which ultimately completed on 3rd April.
But since then, all calls from any Airtel number to my docomo number are failing. It says "number does not exist".
I am able to receive incoming calls from all networks except Airtel. Airtel has specifically blocked all outgoing calls from any Airtel number to my number.
I have called customer care of both networks. I am certain that this is an Airtel problem.
I dont know what advantage Airtel gets by doing this. Not only could they not hold on to a customer, but they are also driving customers away for life.
Please resolve it, else I will have to escalate this to higher levels.
