I was using an IDEA no.(9891968017) for around 10 years, which I ported to Airtel due to its services in J&K, as i am posted there. I submitted all the documents that were asked. It continued for around more than one & a half month, i deposited one month's bill also but then it was disconnected for want of papers again. Since I was not in Delhi it took me around one month to come to Delhi and resubmit the papers. But by that time my connection was disconnected permanently.
Now when I contacted the airtel they say that since it is originally an Idea no. it can be given to me by Idea only. But when I contacted Idea they told me that when they don't have that no. as it is with airtel right now, how can can they give that no. to me.
Now my questions are:
1. When both the companies are passing the buck on each-other, why should I suffer in getting my decade old no. back?
2. When I submitted my documents at the time of connection/porting, why company asked me to submit documents again?
Kindly assist me in getting my decade old no. back.
