I had booked tickets online using Cleartip.com with trip id no. 1206192145 on 19th June and paid an amount of Rs. 27186 online. I cancelled the tickets on 18th July which was acknowledged by them on 18th July itself by their email. No refund has been made by them so far. When I tried to contact them on 1800 3000 the number written on their website, I got a response that the number was not correct. Then I tried another number from their website - 18002339000, which also was found wrong. Finally I spoke to Ms Aksha at about 2.35 pm today. She wanted that we go to the airlines and get cancellation endorsements from the airlines for submission to Cleartrip.com for processing our refund. She said it will otherwise take 30-35 days for Cleartrip.com to make refunds. I don't know whether to thank her for the disinformation or not. One thing is however clear that Cleartrip.com is not either very clear about how to run business or are not transparent and honest with their customers. I request the concerned authorities to take note of the transaction and do something. Other potential users also beware of the state of affairs at Cleartrip.com especially when it comes to refunds.
