I had a very bad experience with Mr Nanda of Nisarga Tourism at Coorg. His office is at Madikeri.
My Name is Isaac & I was given a package offer of Rs 36, 000 for 3 nights stay at a homestay of 5 bedroom including travel. I gave Rs 20, 000 by ICICI transfer to Mr Madhusoodhanan of Mysore and on arrival at Madikeri, Mr Nanda wanted the remaining Rs 16, 000 immediately. However since we did not get a homestay with 5 bedroom we said we wanted to see that house. Then we were made to go around to another house which was again 3 bedroom but had a hall where we had to put some beds. This house was provided for only 2 nights. The third night again we were made to go around looking for another house. It was very scary searching for a house at night with old people and children on board. There were 16 of us in the van. No receipts are usually provided by these guys for such transactions. I dont know if they pay tax properly or divert such funds elsewhere to avoid tax. I just dont want anyone else to take senior citizens and children and be harrassed like this.
