Illegal Activies at Central Salon

Hi All,

Inspired by my friends new hairstyle I went to the Hair and Beauty Salon at Bangalore Central at Jayanagar, near Ragiguda. A hair dresser by the name RAM approached me to dress my hair. He started trimming my hair and alternated started with his sweet talks, asking me my details regarding my occupation and native.

He later asked me to get a facial done, which I agreed on his persistence, since he agreed to get it done at the best possible discount rate. He did not for once disclose the rate even on my repeated plies. He just kept ensuring me to get it done at the best possible price whenever I persisted him to disclose it.

All my hair dressing was done and he took me to a room to get the facial done. Once inside he informed that the prices for Facial starts from Rs.800 and ranges till 1500.Though I was initially shocked hearing those price ranges, I consoled myself guessing prices in a posh place like central may be such. When asked for such a huge price variation, he put me off by telling that it all dependent on the cream he is using. Finally I agreed for 800 rupees facial, instantly after which I asked for an discount. He told me that he would use the cream which usually is meant for Rs.1500 facial and in turn asked me for 100 rupees for such a favor. I agreed for the same and he completed my facial in half an hour. He later asked me to pay Rs.600 in cash and rest by card. Since that made no difference I agreed and paid him Rs.600 so that he can bill it with the rest. He went to the receptionist and silently told her about the hairdressing and Facial which she confirmed from me (I am quite sure she was unaware of this). I paid the amount and received the bill.

I just took an quick glance at my bill and was shocked to find the actual price of facial as just rupees 250. He was still standing there to ensure I do not create any problem. Moreover, I did not want to create a scene disclosing this illegal activity over there for I feared they may fire him. Believe me, it is really a tough feeling loosing hard earned money.
