Through Home Shopping (Homeshop 18), I have purchased one Jewellery set for my wife from Deccan Pearls & Jewels, 1-7-241/ II B, 2nd Floor, Ramalaya Building, Beside Kamat Hotel, S.D.Road, Secunderabad.

On 29-Sept, I found that, in some areas the polish is fading away and its becoming black. On 29/09, my wife called up their office at Secunderabad and spoke to one of their officer named Mr. Ravi (09550608775) regarding the product complaint. He has confirmed that they will not replace the product and would instead polish it free of cost if the set is sent to their office by courier. This is acceptable by us because there is no place here at my town who can polish the pearl gem set without damaging the pearls.

This morning (30/09, 11:09 AM) when I called up Mr. Ravi again at his office landline 040-27890073, he is contradicting his commitment to my wife yesterday and is now refusing even to polish if if we send the set to them. He is saying ..." I can't do anything, you can polish it wherever you want and that's not my headache".

Now the matter is not about polishing a product of a very minimal cost. The matter is about principles and values. Its about why the hell they think that they can treat customers in any way they want. We the Indian consumers are not bloody idiots to take any bullshit from people like them.

I want Mr. Ravi (09550608775 / 040-27890073) to answer me why he has promised my wife yesterday, i.e. on 29/09 that he will arrange to polish it free of cost whereas when I contacted him today (30/09), he is refusing to oblige.

This is offending not only to me but to all the other customers of Deccan Pearls & Jewels who has purchased their product through Home Shop 18 TV channel.

As a dissatisfied Indian consumer I am approaching you as to what I should do under these circumstances so that the other customers are not befooled by such type of Companies who doesn't respect the value and sentiment of customers.
