No weight loss at health zone

Dear sir,

I have enrolled for weight loss reduction program at Alambagh branch of health zone/ Lucknow on 24.02.2010 at Rs 10, 000/- with 10 kg assured weight reduction. I used to visit the centre regularly, did exercise at their gym & followed the diet program properly.

Despite of being regular and punctual visitor, I lost only 1 kg in first 04 months. Having been demoralised, I discontinued the visit and requested to refund the money. They told me that your weight would be reduced by tummy tucks and bodos so after few months I started taking these therapies but there is no reduction in weight and the worst part of the process is that I got injured and suffered burnt mark twice due to mal-functioning of equipments. I am not able to complain it to the in-charge of centre as she is not accessible. The staff of centre is too hostile and rude. I want to take my money back.

Through this forum I appeal that proper attention is to be given on this issue as this is not only the problem related to me but I understand many other persons must have been passing through the same mental agony & suffering from the same problem of NIL reduction of weight. These centres take the full amount in advance with assurance of certain kg of weight loss but do not keep their commitment and their behaviour become very rude gradually. Instead of taking full amount in advance, the payment should be linked with reduction of weight.

In my opinion, joining such centre is a total loss of money & precious time without any gain and with risk of injury (burnt marks).

I request through this forum that this problem, being a general issue faced at most of the slimming centres, may be taken seriously so that these centres would stop harassing their customers and keep their commitment of reduction of weight because this is a right of consumer to get benefit of services for which he/she has made full payment.
