Empty bottle of age defying cream

A few days back i purchased an age defying cream which was given to my friend as a gift which was returned back to me as it was virtually empty with only airb bubbles in it and we felt so much embarrased due to it that i am unable to describe.this is a product of such a reputed company like hindustan unilevers that we can not thought of.in this condition what should i do??
