NON PAYMENT

Recently I worked with a company called ASO Terra Lingua Private Limited from Bangalore, I did many translation projects with them. After finishing the project they send me P.O for the work and said that they will pay me after 45 days. Its more than 75 days now, I have not got my any payment.

At least after seeing this complaint I feel they would take action and pay me.

I spoke to Seema - Translation coordinator and RAVI - Production regarding my payment, there is no positive response from them. I asked them to connect to the director of the company they are saying their director is out of India. I emailed them and they send me a reply always that they pay me in 2 or 3 days….

I don't know what to do - Nearly 38, 000 rupees is pending. I asked Seema regarding my money, she is saying they have not received payment from the client. And now when I call on seema’s no….Ravi says that Seema is also out of station..when I asked about the contact of finance department ..Ravi says that accountant is on leave… How this can be reason, its none of the business of the translator whether the client pays the translation company or not. I work for the translation company, I don't work for their client. So as per 45 days payment terms they should pay the translators properly.

First of all 45 days payment terms is more, normally translation agencies pay in 30 days, Its more than 60 - 70 days. I have not got my payment from this company ASO Terra Lingua.

Can any body give contact number or email of the Director of the Company - ASO Terra Lingua, so that I can talk to him directly.

If the director of the company is genuine, he will know the hard work involved in the translation work. We translators work day and night to meet deadlines and complete the project with 100% quality.

If we complete the translation work with in give time with great quality then only the translation agencies will get repeated customers and will give decent business to them.

If the company does not give payment to the translators, none of the translators will work with them. Then how will they run the company. Translators are the backbone of any translation agency.

If this is a genuine company the director of the company will respond to this complaint and speak out regarding the non payment issues.
