Not cancling the dd made by case

Dear sir, i m ignou student i made a dd of 8200 by case. When i went to axis bank for cancle of dd they denied to cancle it they asking for bank account open only on the name of person made the dd.i m not eligible to open a bank account plz help me. 4 months have passed since i made this. So i request u to plz help me i need that money. I will be gracefull of this act.
