Deduction of Rs. 1405/-from my term deposits

Dear Sir :

I was not aware of the new policy effective from April1st 2010 that in absence of PAN interest will be liable for deduction at source at a higher rate of 20%. Nor did the local Axis bank in Garia, Kolkata have provided me with the information. I am really suprised to know that they do not have my PAN when they opened a new FD for Rs.25, 000/- on Feb.

However, I will appreciate if you help me to get the refund amount of Rs. 1405/- which was deducted at source from my TDS certificate # 232010400044192 and 910040004581381 for the period of 1/4 to 31/3.
