Axis Bank - Pune - Kalyani Naar
Salary account converted to Savings - Charges levied - Request for reversal

Hello Sir/Madam,

I have an account with Axis Bank - Kalyani Nagar Pune. I moved out of Pune, as well as changed my job.

As per the new rule, Axis Bank says that if you do not operate your account or no salary is credited into your Salary Account, they convert it to a Savings account. If there is no minimum balence maintained then they convert it to a savings account without your concent start charging Rs.750 for every quarter.

My issues is they have passed this new rule and not informed me through any medium. This rule did not exist

When I got to know of this issue I immediately transferred the required amount.

I spoke with one Mr. Sushant Kumar (Branch Head - Kalyani Nagar), explained to him my issue and gave him my details. Also sent an email that I have transferred the amount to maintain the required minimum balence in the account. He did mention to me that he will ask the concerned department to reverse the charges.

Its been about 2 months now since I have followed up with Mr. Sushant, nothing has happened or moved. I have called numerous times and I have never gotten to speak with the Branch Head. They take my contact details and never call back.

Please find below a snapshot of all the details.
