Fin charge for cheqebounce after two yea

We have been charged a fine of Rs 650/- on account of "CHEQUE BOUNCE"

The cheque bounced for month of APRIL and we are asked to pay fine now i.e APR after 2 years. The Loan has been fully re-payed in the year 2010.So why are we required to pay the fine now. If there was any bounce then we must have been informed then and there.

Hence I kindly request you to take immediate action action against it.
