Signature not scan in A/C

Name - Santosh Ramdas Wanare.

A/C no. 6001923531-2

My A/C not able to operate from other city.when ask to other branch.the signature is not scan by bank. Manmad branch reply that account holder should personally give request to bank. I am not able to travel to manmad. Is it necessary to give request personally? How other banks can update signature in A/c without request, why can't Bank Of Maharashtra?
