300% extra charges

Card no. 4339480000402352 I received statement, november, for payment of Rs 512.50, wirh due date december02. sent a chq no690729, of axis bank on26.11.2010. Chq could not be produced by barclays since amount in words was missing, and it was sent back stating that new chq be sent within ten days of receipt of letter. New chq was sent for the amount on NEXT day of receiving the letter18.12. this chq was received by barclays bank and encashed also.

This was discussed with customer care, whoadvised me to pay Rs 1080, which includes late fee too.the amountwas paid vide chq no036483 of hdfc bank which has been acknowleged by Barclay bank. I was assured that excess payment /charges by me shall be adjusted, after waiving late fee paid. It was requested that since i was out of station to attend funeral of my sister at patiala, this be considered smypathetically. It was assured so.

Now i have paid Rs1592.50, against a due amount of Rs 512-50. Request has been registered again but extra amount has not been shown as credit in my new statement. It is requested late fee be waived and extra amount be shown as credit to my account. thanks H.S. Anand mob 09825609750
