Cancellation of credit card for no reason

I was holding a barclays credit card for last 4 yrs. Just 2 days back I got sms from the bank that they have cancelled my card account and DID not provided any reason for the same. Also I'M making my payments on time and have been using this card quit extensively for last 4 yrs. Bank should at least intimate the reason for cancellation and duly inform the customer. This is highly unethical behavior by barclays bank and I demand an explanation for this from the concerned people.
