Charging after closure and payment!

I closed my sbi card in june and requested for a closure. However after 4 months they are telling me I need to pay 6500 more to get rid of the card. I wish to request any body who is accessing this site not to ever take the credit card from SBI. As i am not the first person who is facing this issue and I have heard of many who have face the same set of issues.
