False deduction of amount from SBI ATM

I have a Savings Bank Account No. 20005935677 opened with SBI G T B Nagar, Kareli, Branch, Allahabad. My ATM Card No. 6220180708900033398. On 07.04.2010 at about 0830 hrs I went to SBI ATM situated at Bharat Petroleum Pumping Station, Sulem Sarai, Allahabad to withdraw cash from my account. After inserting my PIN, the said ATM was suddenly stopped working and closed down. I did not get any receipt for my ATM operation. Thereafter, I again went to SBI ATM situated at Sulem Sarai and withdrawn Rs. 5000/- vide Receipt dated 07.04.2010 at 0845 hrs (TXN No. 3407). However, the available Balance of Rs. 43, 626/- shown in the said receipt was not correct. Therefore, I again operated the said ATM immediately to know the correct available balance. But this time, this ATM behaved in the same manner i.e. stopped working after inserting the PIN and closed down. Thereafter, I personally came to my Branch at G T B Nagar and enquired about my correct balance. They informed that an amount of Rs. 30, 000/-, in total had already been deducted from my account without my knowledge. Accordingly, I have already submitted an applications for refund of my amount on 07.04.2010. But unfortunately, after a lapse of a considerable period of ten days, the said amount has not been refunded/returned to my account till today i.e. 17.04.2010.

You are, therefore, requested to look into the matter immediately and ensure the prompt refund of my hard earned money.
